JOB SUMMARY:
As the Marketing Technology & Operations Manager, you will architect and own the Aztec Software marketing tech stack with a primary initial focus on a HubSpot / Salesforce integration coupled with the oversight of our suite of industry-leading marketing and sales ops platforms. You’ll drive the optimization of lead management processes, ensure data quality, and implement analytics tracking to deliver actionable insights to track and improve marketing performance. The role will additionally manage marketing operations-related activities from contract negotiation to internal operations processes. This is a highly analytical and technical role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing, technology, and data in a B2B environment with a mix of SaaS, ecommerce, and traditional sales channels.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Manage, integrate, and optimize the following primary platforms (including, but not limited to):
- CRM & Marketing Automation: HubSpot and Salesforce (our Sales Ops lead manages Salesforce but partnership will be required for integration with HubSpot and other martech).
- Analytics & Attribution: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Search Console, ZoomInfo
- Collaboration & Project Management: Monday.com, Notion
- Events: GotoWebinar, Mobly (or similar)
- Ecommerce: WooCommerce, FastSpring, Google Merchant Center
- Platforms Management & Integrations: Manage hands-on, ground-up platform or technology implementations for Aztec. Evaluate, implement, and maintain integrations between our platforms to ensure seamless data flow and effective campaign execution.
- Lead Management - Oversee and continuously improve lead capture, scoring, routing, and nurturing workflows across the tech stack. Ensure seamless handoff of qualified leads to sales and monitoring lifecycle performance.
- Data Quality & Governance - Own marketing data infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all platforms. Develop and enforce best practices for data hygiene and enrichment.
- Performance Tracking & Analytics - Set up and maintain campaign tracking (UTMs, tagging), dashboards, and regular reporting on key metrics (MQLs, SQLs, pipeline, ROI) using tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and ZoomInfo.
- Process Improvement - Document and refine marketing operations processes, including campaign execution, lead flow, and reporting. Drive automation and efficiency across the team using tools like Monday.com and similar.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales operations, revenue operations, and IT to align systems and processes. Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure campaign goals and outcomes are met.
- Training & Support: Serve as the internal expert on the martech stack, providing training and support to marketing team members as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5-7+ years of experience in B2B marketing technology and marketing operations, preferably with a blend of sales models (SaaS, sales organizations, e-commerce). A minimum of 3-5 years of in-house corporate marketing technology or marketing operations experience required.
- Deep hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub and Salesforce Sales Cloud, including implementation, integration, and automation.
- Experience managing and integrating a variety of martech platforms (see above).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing analytics (incl. GA4 and GTM), campaign attribution, and dashboarding.
- Proven track record of optimizing lead management processes and improving data quality.
- Experience with API-based integrations and automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Power BI).
ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with events software
- Ability to thrive in a B2B environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience supporting multiple business units
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required, along with relevant organizational management certifications.
